Giới thiệu
- Gastric acid required for absorption of Ketoconazole—cimetidine, omeprazole, antacids block absorption. In achlorhydria, dissolve tablet in 4 mL 0.2N HCl, drink with a straw. Coca-Cola increases absorption by 65%.
- Potential fatal hepatotoxicity.
- Little usage of Ketoconazole as less toxic and more potent azoles are available.
- Caution: numerous drug interactions (see chart below, not all-inclusive)
