Comments	Accumulating data suggest reduced echinocandin exposure in obesity, but evidence for the ideal dose adjustment strategy is limited (Am J Health Syst Pharm 2023;80:503). PK modeling data suggest a 25% increase in loading and maintenance dose in patients >140 kg results in exposure comparable to non-obese patients receiving usual dosing (Antimicrob Agents Chemother 2018;62:e00063-18). A retrospective cohort study (n=173) showed no difference in outcomes across BMI category in patients receiving standard dosing (J Pharm Pract 2022;35:20).
